I recently got one as well, which explicity says that it's NOT applicable to multi-city trips. However, I plugged it in for my NCAA multi-city open jaw travel odyssey (JFK-SFO-BOI-PDX(AS)-SFO-JFK) and it worked fine. Go figure.
