The management is inept. They continue to lose money in spite of draconian cuts. They are only around thanks to the perversity of our bankruptcy laws, which permit failed businesses, relieved of their cost structure, to sell tickets for less than their competitors, who still have to meet their obligations. Ultimately, they hit the wall too. In the meantime, the original investors are wiped out, every employee, vendor, etc. gets screwed, and vulture investors like the Alabama Pension Funds get control of the airline for less than the cost of a couple of new widebodies. I do that kind of work for a living, so I know it when I see it. We are all entitled to our opinions, and I respect yours, ATC. I also know from first hand experience when things like the PHL hub and the Express operation don't work very well. This managmenet you are so enamored of thinks those are the engines of its salvation. Methinks they spend too much time reading their contract parachutes, instead of riding their airplanes. If they did the latter, they might learn not to sell 30 minute connections in Philadelphia.
