Or going SYD-SFO-EWR -- only at SYD.
Do they even give drink chits at int'l departures? I've never been to SYD's RCC club but at the ones I have been, the booze is free so there's no need for chits.

What time does the bar close in RCC's like LAX and SFO?

And do FA's more or less accept the RCC drink chits with nary a glance or do some reject them? I've got a bunch of 'em that I want to use on my LAX-SYD-LAX flights.

As for the vouchers, I find the whole topic amusing; the Matrons are so whack about the issue, they truly must have bonuses tied to how few they hand out, pax are so whack about getting two complimentary drinks, and the booze is pathetic in the end (at least the wines are). I have a travel wallet full of those controversial little chits, I pick them up on the floor of the various RCC's when I am in transit, or they are given to me when requested and I run out of time to enjoy the latest box wine on the shelf.

But the controversy rages on over those little gray slips of paper that mean so little in the end...

Uh, shall I pm you for yours?

The make both superbly there, the correct time consuming way, and IIRC are about $10 each if paying cash.

If $20 means zippo to you, I am amused/perplexed to read you pick up unused chits from the floors of clubs.

(Okay, I know I'm hogging the posts by posting 'em one at a time.)

Speaking of HNL's RCC, the last time I went there on my way to LHR, I asked if I could get some drink chits (not allowable since I should only get 'em in SFO, my domestic gateway) and the agent said, "No need. Just tell the bartender what you want."

Now that the Aloha spirit!
