In BKK I use the lounge for free internet, some drinks, fresh fruits and a shower if needed. I fly Y or Prem Y and the food in the lounge is not good at all so I don't eat it. I can get a fairly tasty Pad Thai or other Thai dish outside in the Thai restaurant for 140 Baht which beats anything in the lounge as well as on board and that includes the TG J food I had been served lately.
