Is it possible to *plan* to switch cars during a rental in Germany?
My wife and I will travel to Germany (from USA) in May and rent a convertible for 2 weeks. Towards Day #10, I'll need to change from the convertible to a station wagon because my mother will fly to meet us. How can I book it this way, so that I can keep the weekly rental rate, instead of having to do two separate rentals?

I am #1 Gold member, so not sure if I need to phone #1 line or if I can just book this on hertz.com.
