Overall, the Tg lounges are not bad if you take away the food element. Showers are good and space is important. I have never had to stand for lack of seating. However catering is basic compared to LH senator/ first class lounge. I was in FRA on Thursday and got to use this lounge. Great German food buffet including hot sausage, potato salad, gherkins, cheeses, freshly made fruit smoothies. Excellent beer on tap!!! Fresh warm Bretzen to go with it. Shower is also spot on with good dental kit. However I had to stand for 10 mins before getting a seat. Lounge was small and crowded. Its great that we get to use this lounge in FRA. I travel Y as a rule and to have a quality fill on the ground meant that I could snooze all the way to MAD.

Just for the record, I chose LH out of PVG this time as TG wanted 1500 euro for PVG BKK MAD M class one way and Q class return. I wanted to use my upgrade cert. However I will wait till next week for a MNL BKK MAD as M class out of MNL is about 400 euro cheaper.
LH cost me only 700 euro PVG FRA MAD U class one way and W class return. Lets see if I get credited any miles!
