I agree that change is and can be a good thing...

But, in all fairness, the Thai Lounges are pretty great... If you are flying in J or F, who wants to gorge themselves in the lounge anyway? I mean really...?

I am happy to have somewhere to relax, have a whiskey (in replacement of wine!) and chill before a flight... The other important factor for me is the need for a shower between long haul. Now, that is why a lounge is important for me...
