If the CSD is kneeling at your feet in 62K or 1K (with 1A vacant) - two occasions when I've had this sort of questioning - it feels like a reasonably private consultation.
If, on the other hand, the CSD yells over the dividing screen "Welcome back to British Airways, Dr LeisureFirst. Do let me know if there's anything I can do for you during the flight" while sailing past most of the other UD passengers, as happened once, I just smugly retreat back into my seat while the other pax are trying to look to see who I am.

(I guess to GGLs this happens on every flight.)
