I don't think that's the airport commission's plan, rather Northwest was lobbying to push all its non-Skyteam competition to Humphrey and make it a royal pain to connect with them.
Humphrey makes sense for Southwest & Sun Country, but any airline that can interline with NW/DL/UA/CO/AA, etc., really should be in Lindbergh for the sake of the customers.
Well for how long did MAC do whatever NWA wanted? Since moving from MN I have not really read anything, so I am sure I am wrong…I do however remember reading some articles in the Star Tribune and some info you could pick up at MSP about that being in the plans…
I agree though, HHH works well for what it is being used for.
