I've transfered my CO miles into my Amtrak account and redeemed it for UA miles, but on my confirmation email it states, "Thank you for redeeming for an Amtrak Guest Rewards item. You’ve ordered:
5,000 Airline Miles
Item # 5001
5,000 Points , etc.
Your reward will be shipped within 2 to 4 weeks. Please keep this confirmation email for your records and Contact Us if you have additional questions."

Is this transfer suppose to work electronically or via paper reward? Any recent experience? Thanks.
