Great idea, RutDog. Perhaps by routing my CO miles to GR I could save 5,000 miles on a US-&gt;Mexico award trip, because CO uses 35,000 whereas AA uses 30,000. And AA has always had MUCH better seat availability on their awards than CO.

But, I wonder:
• Generally speaking, is there less seat availability when you claim an award through a partner?
• Has anyone had any specific experience claiming AA awards through YX?
