Hard to get that from your post, because you prefaced it with "I'd caution not to get too greedy, tho.", and then described your experience. Getting greedy would be waiting for a higher offer because you believed that by doing so, you would get more than the others. Not being enticed by an offer that is too low isn't greedy.
