Will do that but in an ideal world, would like to sample the FRA FCT

But I am a bit confused here....
Say if I am looking for BCN-FRA-bkk-SIN, do I specifically look for availability between BCN-BKK (choosing any BCN-FRA and FRA-BKK) flight) or can I simply look at any route, as long as I can find availability on FRA-BKK sector?

I ask this because, on expertflyer when I put in BCN-SIN, it shows only BCN-ZRH and ZRH-SIN (via bkk) flights.
Whereas if I put ZRH-SIN, it shows both ZRH-SIN (via BKK) and also ZRH-SIN via HKG.
