Via HKG is very unlikely to get through as discussed before. BKK-SIN is the routing diversion option, but not HKG. Basically if you want to get to MLE in peak season, you are likely to need to be flexible in:

1) Date
2) Airline
3) Cabin Class

Sounds like cabin class is the flexible option. If you really want to go to MLE then, then you can hold off and hope for something to open up, or grab the AMS seats and make the best of it.
