How do I know if my award flight has actually been ticketed?

Sorry if this is a slightly obtuse question but I've booked my first reward flight with BMI and am not sure if my flight has actually been ticketed.

I have booked a return flight in J with SQ from SIN-MLE in November. The booking went OK with the Indian call centre, my Amex card has been charged, I've received an itinerary from BMI entitled BMI Travel Confirmation but, as yet, no actual ticket number. The flights aslo appear in 'manage my booking'.

If I was flying with BA as I normally do, I'd be happy. However, reading threads on here, it seems that some reward flights fail to be ticketed in time with SQ. Should I actually receive a ticket or ticket number and how do I check if this has been done? If so, how long does it take for this to happen? I booked the flight on Tuesday of this week.

Many thanks,

Mike
