Have been in the Affinia in Jan 09. The location is really nice, from my point of view one of the best location you can get if you want to do some sightseeing. Directly at 34th Penn Station you are really well positioned to start your trip.

I paid between 119 and 149 US$ per night (changed during my 8 night stay).

Hotel is nice for a US hotel. Staff is friendly. ^

I would recommend this hotel for such a good price.

BTW, will go to NYC in May. Booked Millenium Hilton for 88 GBP for one night King Deluxe City View room with Avis Deal.

Took this because this trip is intended to be a pure shopping trip (Century 21st) with my girlfriend and a birthday present for her. Any recommendations to have a nice dinner (not so overpriced) in NYC? Maybe somewhere with a real good view over NYC in the evening?
