I'm flying on DL/AF this weekend, connecting through CDG. The flight out of CDG seems to be in Terminal 2C. In one past trip, I was flying on business, on a Bizelite ticket so access to lounges was no problem for me. However, this ticket is an el-cheapo one.

I'm DL Platinum/Skyteam Eliteplus and usually that is supposed to give you and a guest entry into Skyteam lounges, but I've heard some stories from colleagues about AF lounges in Paris not allowing Platinum entry, especially when they are close to capacity.

I have a 5 hour layover and am coming out of a long, long workweek and would love to have time to unwind in CDG. There appear to be 2 Air France lounges in CDG terminal 2C, so if anyone with experience can share tips and stories on gaining access there with a Platinum medallion card and a coach ticket, I'd appreciate it.
