A completely standard error that occurs all the time. The seats are available and you can ring up and get them assigned. Sometimes (often !) the CS agents seem unable to figure out how to do it. The secret seems to be to cancel any pre-existing seat assignment before they try and give you the seats. Best of luck and enjoy the flight !
