Am flying PL SYD-TPE-SYD A332(QF Code share). Can somebody confirm 6A as the first row in J class? I want this row as I'm a window lover and want that extra bit of space to be able to walk past any fully extended potential neighbour
Also do I get any special consideration being QF Platinum or are there any better OW lounges I can use insted in TPE seeing I'm on QF paper?

Yes, 6A is the first row. 6 is always the front row on planes configured with PL. Its rows 6 to 9 on the A330. I'm not sure you'll be able to get it - EVA seem to block row 6 for EVA diamonds.
I don't know if you'll get any recognition of your QF status... somehow I doubt it.
The sign outside the shared entrance to the main two EVA lounges shows the Qantus logo, so they share facilities. Suggest you ask the garden receptionist if you can go in there (show your Qantus card and PL BP), but don't bank on it. Officially the garden is just for EVA branded Amex platinum holders and EVA diamonds.
There is the More lounge nearby which is slightly better than the standard EVA lounge IMHO. Priority Pass works there or you can pay to get in. Can't remember if anything else works there.
