I stayed in a Mountain Vista suite at Sanctuary on Camelback March 2007. The room was very spacious with modern decor. I would go with a Spa Suite next time. The food is excellent. elements is the restaurant and each meal was delicious and well-presented. The chef Beau McMillan was on Iron Chef America and is also Wayne Gretzky's personal chef (whatever that means)... Spa was also well-appointed with excellent services. Resort staff is a bit young so service is not super stellar but still courteous and professional. The resort is fairly compact compared to the larger Phoenix/Scottsdale megaresorts. The pool area is very nice but can get quite crowded as they sell memberships to the surrounding residents.

Overall, a nice option in Phoenix/Scottsdale.
