I'm not sure what you mean by "European entrees". There are lots of European countries using quite different terminology for different courses. And most of them (including the UK, and with it BA) do not use the word "entree" for any of them.
Pretty much anywhere other than USA and Canada , where the term is used, entrée comes before the main course rather than being main course
