I am still replying even though most of the comments are pro BA, obviously the cost of the ticket was not the first thing on my mind when I booked and paid as I just had to get there. In these tough times finding out that the £1096 for a full WT I paid could have been £350 on Virgin (upon provision after the flight of a death certificate) does play on the mind however considering the reason for having had to travel it does pale into insignificance.

BTW the flight out on 777 was fairly comfortable whereas the return on 747 was particularly uncomfortable.
