Have you looked at Star Alliance Timetable PC? This downloads the flights to a PC. Hmm, might be the same data source as the palms.

I have also found the pdf timetable is only so good in terms of being current, and lousy for flights more than a month+ ahead of when the timetable was published. So I can build routes from AAA-BBB with a constrained number of legs, but can't always guaruntee the flight numbers are still current, unless the timetable is fresh.

So as a second page of the app, I think using the ua2go flightstatus/flight summary info when you have web access is the way to go. You can use that look up flights several months out it seems, as well as current flight status.

I think an app that lets you enter and store routings, and then on the day of travel lets you know flight status of flights along the routing might be useful?

That is what I am working on at least.
