It's new to the US fleet, and newly manufactured (i.e. not acquired 2nd hand). There were a handful on order prior to the merger, and then additional ones have been added to that order. I believe the total A332 deliveries is 15 over the next few years before the A350 deliveries begin sometime after 2013.
