SeatGuru is biased against bulkheads as they think that everyone wants to stretch their legs fully under the seat in front of them. I agree that is nice for a redeye but on a day flight I'd rather have no one reclining in to me.
For UA flights, particularly the bulkhead in E+ on the p.s. 752s the note about limited legroom is 100% accurate. For CO flights I do not find it to be the case.
On the 772 front, assume that you have v2. There is only one v1 plane flying around and it'll be gone in a month, so your odds are strongly in favor of v2.
