I've stayed at both. The RC is a much better hotel and the regular rooms are some of the nicest that I have seen anywhere. The Marriott may have the "central" tourist location, but the RC's location next to the Harbor can give some very nice views. The Marriott does have a CL (though it can be crowded at times) and the food there was pretty good the last time I was there. I have no idea if this latest round of "enhancements" have affected that or not.

If the points were the same, it wouldn't even be a choice for me. I'd be at the RC.
