Yes seems the hotel leaves a bit to be desired, now will be at the Universal Studio Hilton, from what I gather the metro station red line is close by, so that makes it a bit easier to get around (and get to/from LAX).
While in the area, Hollywood Bvd,Santa Monica Pier,Beverley Hills..general touristy things
