Now 3 days before departure, only 4 rows are taken with club so the forward emergency exit row has become available, row 8.
While its unlikely that club will expand to fill 3 more rows I wonder whether if the flight is lightly booked they will prefer passengers to sit towards the back so these rows could be closed off again ?
Is it worth moving forward or better to stick with more room further back ?
I had a flight back from MAD last week. At time of booking I was allocated 11C (on a 757) - first row in ET. At T-72 they opened up the front cabin - only 3 rows of Club so I grabbed 5C and was happy. When I came to do OLCI they had expanded CE and I was back to 14C.
So beware the phantom seat shifters can strike even after T-72!
