In my experience, ticketing deadlines can vary wildly even on the same route on the same airline. One month a specific fare might not require ticketing until 24 hours prior to departure, and the next month that same fare might require ticketing within 24 hours after the reservation is made. KVS posted another possible example. Whatever it is, it will always be in the fare rules for your specific fare.
