Thanks for all the quick replies!

I guess I should give more information to help clarify.

I need to make a business trip in Europe and need to go to (in order):

1. Galway, Ireland
2. Helsinki, Finland
3. Madrid, Spain

My wife wants to accompany me on my trip, so we are making it half business / half pleasure. There is limited time between my meetings at the various cities, so I would like to limit travel time (ie. no connections if possible).

I was not able to find any direct flights from Ireland to Helsinki or Helsinki to Madrid. I did find flights (on Star Alliance metal) that connect in CPH and ZRH (respectively), and I have a day or two between my meetings, so I thought that we could spend the extra time visiting those cities.

So this is what I have come up with:

1. May 18: YVR -> LHR: Stay to visit
2. May 21: LTN -> GWY: Meeting (flying with Aer Arann)
3. May 24: GWY -> DUB: Stay to visit (flying with Aer Arann)
4. May 25: DUB -> CPH: Stay to visit
5. May 26: CPH -> HEL: Meeting
6. May 30: HEL -> ZRH: Stay to visit
7. May 31: ZRH -> MAD: Meeting
8. June 5: MAD -> YVR: Return

It seems to me that the only flights into GWY are with Aer Arann. That's why it's open jaw.

I'm visiting CPH and ZRH because that's where my flights connect. That's not set in stone, and other connecting cities are possible.
