I guess the piece concept applies for North America-Europe. In that case, it would be 3 bags, 20 kg/piece?
With intraEurope flights, and with Europe-India flights, the weight concept applies. It would then be 2 pieces, for a total of 60 kg (rather than the regular passenger's limit of 2 pieces of 20 kg each - or 40 kg in total)?
So if I am undestanding correctly, tghe total weight allowance for Star Alliance Golds in all of the scenarios above is 60 kg total luggage weight. The difference is that the 60 kg can be distributed among 3 pieces for transatlantic flights, and among 2 pieces for all other flights?
