I'm nt sure about this fare, but I know that on a lot of fares, SNA and LAX are essentially considered to be the same airport. So, I don't know the answer. I couldn't find this covered in AA's Conditions of Carriage, either.
It wouldn't be in the Conditions of Carriage, but in the fare rules for your specific fare. If you still have the full fare basis, there are folks here who have ways of finding the fare rules.
