Looks like we've changed up to do the following:
- Arrive in Geneva on the 10th
- Pick up rental car on the 11th and drive via Lausanne to Bern that day (hopefully by Saturday the first wave of travelers who will have left on Friday will have subsided - and even if not, still no big deal, it's 100 miles total, how bad can the traffic possibly be?)
- Drop off rental car on the 12th at the Bern station and take a one-hour train to Luzern
- Take another train to Lugano
- From Lugano take the aforementioned train to Florence.
So an evening and a morning in each of the cities, plus we'll be able to see the views from the train's windows. How does this sound?
