I have a Canadian Marriott Rewards Visa card.

For most purchases, I get 1 MR point per Canadian dollar spent.

For stays at Marriott hotels, I get 10 MR per dollar spent at hotel, plus 3 MR per dollar spent purchasing a Marriott branded service or goods plus 2 MRs per dollar for the Silver Elite bonus - for a total of 15 MR points per dollar spent at a Marriott.

I got 3 MRs per dollar spent buying a Marriott Vacation Club International timeshare unit, not 15 MR points per dollar spent. Is that correct?

However (as is the case in 1 week), will I earn 15 MR points per dollar spent, at a MVCI timeshare resort?

I have recently become a Gold member - what is the Gold Elite premium in terms of MR points earned per dollar spend at a Marriott location?
