Fair call on your part, and this board is a perfect place to sound out others for advice, firstly for what is reasonable for you to expect (both from a legal and a moral aspect) as well as what the airline is capable of supplying. I wouldn't worry about the criticism you have received, the QF forum is normally a much friendlier place. Enjoy the flights!
