How does the time change affect US's operations?

Perhaps this is a silly question, but I got to thinking tonight about how the spring time change would affect an airline's operations.

I can think of two instances where specific arrangements might have to be made in order to avoid flight delays:
1) Crew minimum rest time at outstations where the crew has operated an inbound late night flight and then must turn around and operate the first am flight
2) Flights that go out in the morning when the aircraft has opearted a redeye

Does US do specific things in order to mitigate these delays such as reposition crews ahead of time, temporarily alter schedules and plan to juggle around aircraft utilization or are there bound to be (anticipated) delays tomorrow morning? Are there any staffers that can chime in on this issue?
