Amateur Service in the BRG Dept.
Hi guys!
I just booked a room for two in London at the rate of 269 GBP. I then saw that Travelocity's rate is $288 and filed a BRG claim.
The claim was denied on the grounds that the Marriott website has a lower rate of 169 GBP. My rate was adjusted to 169 GBP, by the Marriott BRG staff.
As I did not see this rate, I rechecked the Marriott website and found it to be for a single occupancy room! The rate for two guests still came up as 269 GBP (making it higher than Trevelocity's rate).
Along with making adjusting my rate to 169 GBP, the Marriott staff had also made it single occupancy!
How amateur is this??
I will be calling Marriott Elite CS on Monday.
Any thoughts?
