If you decide to swing into Covent Garden, you should also check out the Lamb & Flag. Known once as the "Bucket o Blood", it is one of the oldest pubs in the area, with quite a group of regulars - been a haunt of mine for over 30 years! ()

It is on Rose Street and is a bit difficult to find, but a local should be able to get you there without too much trouble.
