I like to walk everywhere. I'll be there 2 nights and working in Pudong but want to explore in the evenings on foot. Subway is OK, but I don't like taxis.

Company is paying but have to be sensible. I'd say 1200RMB max per night but sub-1000 is better.

Got any recommendations of areas, or specific hotels?
