I travel through AMS most weeks and I have to say that the servisair lounge is not much really and a long walk from the D Gates that the BMI metal leaves from.

The lounge is OK, but can get very very busy, the food options are not great and they have plonked a smoking cabin just outside the door recently (which is fine for me, but I do understand that the escaping odours can really upset people, and some of the smoke smell does escape)

A much much much better lounge option is the Privium lounge, however you need to hold a european passport to enrol in Privium, take the Privium plus card - about 120 euros per year - for which you not only get a really nice lounge linking you public to airside, but also lightning quick immigration using iris scan that makes the UK system look steam driven.

I hope this helps, can't speak for the BA lounge, as I am only blue, but I now never use the BMI Servisair, but always use the Privium lounge.

Best wishes.
