First of all I wanted to thank everybody for their valuable advice concerning turnaround ad MAD airport.

Wanted to give some first hand experience after I have done two of those these days. First one was on a Sunday. Passport control was completely empty, Security check and the following passport control too. I was actually running abit cause the incoming flight was late, so I thought they might rush in the turnaround. But this is Spain, so no rush.

Second day was today and everything went smooth again, no lines no nothing.

MAD became my favorite turnaround airport. The only "bad" thing is the long walk back and forth. Maybe this will change with the summer schedule when the swiss airports become schengen.
