I am getting the Ti card next week, but I wonder how they can possibly get away with the tosh on the teaser - "a concierge that will pre-empt your desires" etc
Today they quoted the wrong rate for a FHR RC stay, and when I corrected them they said I wasn't right. I asked for a supervisor to check, and they then called me back, to say they found a better rate (the one I quoted), and didn't at all acknowledge that I was right all along...then she tried to sell me dinner, car hire, and currency when it was quite clear I wanted her to do the booking and get off the phone!
Why don't they understand that for many people luxury means a fast efficient service with no fuss. Why can't they have the basic trainng so that they can tell when people want to chat idly or are in a rush and want it done quickly? Even London cabbies can do that!
