i have this card. it *was* a wonderful card that provided excellent customer service and 0% forex. it did not have a very good rewards program but nevertheless it was my favorite card to use overseas.

that all changed last november when wells fargo surreptitiously implemented a 3% forex fee. now i, and many other of wf's best customers are fighting mad.

i would advise against getting the wf sig visa in any of its forms (invitation or otherwise) now. get the charles schwab 2% cash back invest first visa instead. i switched and couldn't be happier. the schwab card has excellent customer service, 0% forex and 2% cash back for virtually everything.

to put things in perspective, the schwab visa will save you 5% when compared to the wf product if you're travelling internationally (3% forex plus 2% cashback).
