A word of warning about Chase right now. They seem to be turning down apps for no good reason.

Another FTer I know applied for UAL biz and pers cards. Got turned down for no discernible reason. He has had no problem getting, for example, AA cards from Citi.

My guess, it is Bush credit crisis panic at Chase. Perhaps the panic will wear off in a few months
