I'm not sure if this one is an "old haunt" or not but a fellow FT'er from London turned me onto the Cittie of Yorke on High Holborn.

It's seemingly quite old, lots of wood beams, semi-private booths, and plenty of grog! I have always enjoyed it and if you're in West End its easy as can be to get to.
