It is also true that the fake Coopers in Junction is to be avoided.
But, as a general proposition, the Salt Lick can't hold a candle to Coopers.

Perhaps I sampled something on the lower-end of the scale at Cooper's. It was definitely good, but it was also the first stop in my BBQ tour through Hill Country, and I do know there were better eats down the road after reflecting. I did visit the Llano location, FWIW.
Besides, we all know BBQ is not a location, but rather a state of mind.
