From their website:

Abbey Zero

Zero fees when you use it

- 0% balance transfer fee
- 0% on balance transfers for 6 months
- 0% on purchases for 6 months
- 0% foreign exchange fee
- 0% cash advance fee
- £0 annual fee
Read about NW's changes on Monday when I happened to be browsing their site, looking for their exchange rate. Irritatingly i'm in the US for almost 5 months from mid-May this year. I think i'll be withdrawing and hoarding cash during my first couple of weeks there, before the charges kick in!

Be careful with the Abbey Zero though, as the slimline t+c's for the card state that there is a £10 "dormancy fee". Sounds rather ambiguous? Will see if there's anything in the full t+c's when they arrive. (Applied for this card on Monday).
