If your client can issue the ticket in your son's name you're probably best off.
Either fess up to exactly what you're doing (that'd be my approach), or if you feel that would be inappropriate, then here's another approach:
I presume your son shares the same surname.
So if you are Joe Ozfiler and your son's name is Fred Ozflier, just tell your client to issue the ticket to "your" name as it is in the passport, i.e. FREDERICK OZFLIER. There are many people who use a middle name or nickname professionally, so this should generally not even raise an eyebrow. After all, tickets must match the passport ...
