Or that classic, "Did anyone put anything in your bag without your knowledge?"
When they used to ask "Has this bag been out of our possession since you packed it?" I would try to be honest and explain that I'd left it with the hotel front desk from check-out until late in the afternoon. I found out it's just easier to say "no."
