USAirways receives 50 cents for every call they forward to Hertz or Avis ... I imagine they have a similar arrangement with Hotels.com. While that 50 cents may not directly benefit me, I would not really consider it fluff. As I've said many times before, I'm all for US getting whatever money they can from anyone besides me.

I seriously doubt that a few US employees working to make an arrangement with Hotels.com has hindered US airline alliance work.
